In
Western New York, we strongly recommend cable over DSL.
This is not based upon speed or any other performance
issues, but primarily because of the fact that we
cannot recommend Verizon under any circumstances.
Even our experience of disconnecting
Verizon DSL was horrendous. For over
a year of our own Verizon DSL usage, we found support
be virtually non-existent. Customer service was
unprofessional. Reaching the correct department
required more perseverance then even a Type A
personality could muster. Everything appears to
be outsourced, even if it isn't, and one is left with
the distinct impression that "the left hand never
knows about the right." We're selling our
Verizon stock! The experience has been that bad. |
