Working Solutions began as the natural extension of founding member Richard Levy’s interest in publishing. The concept of CloseRange offering (its publish-it-yourself web sites) slowly evolved along with the Internet. Over a twenty year period, Working Solutions had been involved in other publishing ventures, and had become acutely by the late 1980s that the Internet was going to be the future of electronic publishing.

Having seen that most Internet firms were mostly providing “vanity sites” without any impact on the bottom line, the goal at CloseRange was to provide companies with a strategic presence that would impact sales or, in the case of NFP organizations, improve membership and funding. The solution required simpler content management at an affordable price without sacrificing the features necessary for effective Internet marketing.

Developing our relationship with the nation’s most respected hosting company, Verio, and with several teams of programmers and application developers was the first step in the process. Nurturing this relationship, and finding experienced designers and marketing experts has enabled us to offer our clients a mature product that is capable of offering "the next generation Internet" ... today!
